Protect the Asian Pacific American Vote:
Volunteer During Election Day!
NAPABA is once again partnering with the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) to provide election protection and poll monitoring training for the upcoming Presidential Elections.
Although the Voting Rights Act, which mandates bilingual ballots in certain jurisdictions, and forbids voter discrimination, Asian Pacific Americans continue to face obstacles when exercising their right to vote. AALDEF and NAPABA are offering CLE trainings for volunteers who are committed to protecting the right to vote for APAs and all Americans.
Volunteers are needed to monitor poll sites in APA neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Illinois, Michigan, California, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
